Camden Environmental provides an essential waste processing operation across London and plays a major role in helping London maintain its environmental credentials.
We process waste each year from across London; waste materials are recycled and utilised as recycled aggregates and soils, a process which prevents these materials ending in landfill.
Our service is essential in ensuring London can remain at the forefront of tackling the climate change agenda and our location on the inner London ring road means we minimise the carbon footprint.
Our location is not bordered by any residential communities, so we minimise potential neighbourhood nuisance.
Wherever possible, vehicle movements are minimalised by ensuring trucks are full both delivering to and exiting from the site. All materials that are accepted onto our site are recycled, resulting in ZERO landfill.
We make a positive contribution to the Mayor of London’s policy targets on recycling CDE waste.
Our environmentally friendly products can be safely used instead of Primary Aggregates, to meet diverse construction specifications. Our operation ensures that where truck movements are essential, these are reduced to an efficient and short journey, that minimises the impact on road congestion for London and the Homes Counties.
Our operation also allows Architects and Construction firms to gain or maintain their BREAM accreditation.
